These terms govern your access to and use of CarnivalX, the peer-to-peer marketplace for Carnival. By using CarnivalX you agree to these terms.
1. About CarnivalX
CarnivalX is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of Carnival costumes, event tickets and related items. CarnivalX does not own inventory; we facilitate transactions, collect a platform fee and help manage the flow of payments between buyer and seller.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use CarnivalX. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
3. Listings & conduct
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Items must be authentic, lawful to sell and described honestly. Prohibited items may not be listed (see our Prohibited Items policy).
4. Payments & fees
Payments are processed by our payment partner. CarnivalX charges a platform fee on completed sales. See the Fees page for details. Funds may be held until the buyer confirms receipt.
5. Disputes
If something goes wrong, buyers and sellers can open a dispute. CarnivalX may mediate and, where appropriate, issue refunds or release payouts in line with our Buyer Protection policy.
6. Liability
CarnivalX provides the platform 'as is'. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of buyers or sellers or for indirect or consequential losses.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of CarnivalX means you accept the updated terms.
